The tin coating shall be continuous. The continuity of the wire shall be determined on representative samples taken before stranding or insulating. The continuity of tinning shall be determined by the hydrochlroic acid-sodium polysulfide test. The tin coating shall be firmly adherent to the surface of the copper. The adherence of coating on the wire shall be determined on representative samples taken before stranding or insulating.
