Report to: Global Quality Manager
Responsibilities
· Raw material testing, confirm and handling of bad raw materials.
• Finished goods testing and confirm.
• Administrate and coordinate the document handling system for quality.
• Support to all processes and functions involved in the document handling system.
•Supervision of the quality assurance function to guarantee full implementation of the quality system according to the necessary quality standards (ISO9001 or similar).
• Responsible for UL and product certification activities.
•Provide reject analysis to the production personnel for early prevention or repetition of quality issues.
• Supports in-process and final inspection of samples.
• Follow up and reporting of quality related targets and statistics.
• Coordination of training activities of production personnel related to quality inspection and issues.
•Supports interaction with raw material suppliers and generation of supplier corrective actions when needed.
• Coordinates investigation of customer complaints and generation of corrective actions.
• Handle customer complaints and rejections and follow up with corrective actions.
• Continuously work with improvements of product quality.
• Participate as internal quality auditor.
• Other tasks/activities as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree Cable, Engineering or closely related area.
•Two to five years of experience as a quality or process engineer or similar, in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of applicable analytical and problem solving techniques.
• Knowledge of telecom cable and raw material standards and specifications.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and other quality standards and its practical implementation.
• Bilingual: Chinese and English
