Manufacturing Engineer 工藝工程師
Responsibilities:
Production introduction, including follow up product print, BOM, ERP/SAP System, material
Assure required processes are followed. Support and coordinate, in site, the transfer of New Products from Development to Manufacturing.
Implement manufacturing process modifications for fiber cable assembly; specifies the different stages needed for an optimal balance and continuous flow of production; provide training to operators and engineering according to product general and particular characteristics.
Continuously improve the manufacturing process. Focus on Safety, Quality and Cost.
Provide technical training and support within the plant. Consistently challenge status quo to ensure that department operations are technologically positioned to meet our business requirement. Take leadership role and facilitates teams in process and quality improvement initiatives.
Support "New Product Introduction" team to provide overall technical support for developing and implementing innovative processes and technologies for fiber cable assembly.
Qualification
B.S. in Engineering
Minimum of 3 years hands-on manufacturing experience in fiber optic product production environment or related field
Complete understanding of all equipment and their operation related to fiber optic manufacturing specifications
Broad understanding of fiber optic technology
Knowledge of Polisher, interferometer and optical testing equipment is preferred
Demonstrated competence in process improvement techniques such as process capability studies,FMEA,DOE's,LEAN Manufacturing techniques and probability& statistics.
Strong Knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes, and industry specifications
Excellent English communications skills (oral & written)
Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, CAD, project management)

Quality Engineer 質(zhì)量工程師
Primary responsibilities:
Document inspection standards or best known methods for fixturing and measuring parts.
Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, comparators, and toolmakers microscopes
Apply workmanship standards in the inspection of components and assemblies in order to assess acceptability.
Read engineering drawings interpreting Geometric Tolerance and develop the corresponding quality inspection plans (QIP) for components and assemblies.
Gage design and able to work with Model Shop/outside suppliers to have gages designed, built and calibrated.
Read and interpret quality specifications and requirements
Manipulate statistical data using programs such as Minitab
Prepare reports and present to engineering team
Be a resource for design of experiments (DOE) and capability studies
Execution of failure analysis (Ishikawa, 5 Why, 8D)
Analysis of quality and process data
Updating of the FMEA’s and preparation of CP and QIP’s in case of quality issues, tool and processes transfers and new process introduction
Qualification:
BS degree in science or engineering, with two or more years quality engineering experience
At least 2 years experience in fiber product manufacturing area;
Demonstrate expertise in quality concepts, practices and procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Fluent English in oral, read and writing
Ability to plan, establish and coordinate test and inspection procedures, conduct process capability studies, prepare statistical quality control data and develop statistical designed experiments
Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100

Participate in equipment design functions to lend a maintenance perspective to new equipment designs.
Documentation and submission for approval of changes or modifications made by the department in the course of our work.
Provide PC computer, and software support.
Perform pre-production inspections for new and modified equipment.
Review and update of equipment Preventive Maintenance processes, and content.
Emergency repair response to equipment breakdowns.
On time completion of assigned Preventive Maintenance Inspections.
Fixture design and modification for production floor
Qualifications include:
B.S. in Engineering
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with electrical, optical and mechanical repair, installation.
Strong electromechanical, problem solving skills
Working Knowledge of polishing machines; Optical testing platforms; Optical interferometers is plus
